Now will Sony announce anything else ? Like Vita games and launch games for the PS4?

It would be awesome if PS4 launched with games with 4 in them. Uncharted 4, God of War 4 and Killzone 4. Now that would be an awesome line up.

i was a tad dissapointed with Anderson Silva last night, although in his defence Leites contributed very little in making the fight exciting. i was loving the crowd chanting “GSP GSP GSP” though, Georges St.Pierre is pretty amazing, i was impressed at how easily he dominated BJ Penn, who is himself considered one of the top pound for pound

and it looks like Liddell’s UFC career came to an end at UFC 97, stopped by Rua, who if i remember correctly had a great deal of trouble taking out the older more tired Mark Coleman a few UFC’s ago

If Lesnar defeats Mir at UFC 100, i’d love to see Lesnar get it on with Cheick Kongo, who dominated Hardonk at UFC 97

anyway this is the start of me watching UFC, i’ll gain more knowledge on fighters as i continue to watch it, this is just the thread to discuss everything UFC related

I like the fact that the dude wasn’t even bullshitting and trying to claim that they wanted to move onto something new. Dude knows the Alan Wake story is not finished and clearly stated;

“After the first game, we worked hard to make the sequel happen, but these games are huge undertakings and many things have to fall in place, the RIGHT PARTNERS, AND THE FUNDING”

He goes on to state that although Alan Wake wasn’t a huge hit when it first released, it has now sold in excess of 3 million copies, across both Xbox 360 and PC.

Basically it seems to me that Microsoft don’t want Alan Wake to be made because it’s not a cash cow like Call of Duty, Halo or Gears of War, and they don’t want to fund the project. This is the problem though when studios make deals with these companies, especially when it’s a 3rd party (or are Remedy a 2nd party?  I know Microsoft don’t own them) studio making exclusive games for certain publishers, if they don’t believe in the product they are not going to support it. Microsoft want to push big numbers, they are a business so that is to be expected.

It’s a shame, and I hope that whatever deal they had it will soon expire and Remedy will be able to bring Alan Wake to the PS4 and hopefully get the sequel made. I mean the original Mass Effect finally appeared on PS3 after all them years, so there is hope yet.

So yeah, slightly gutted at this news, but props to this guy for speaking out because not many developers will do this.

It’s also nice that there is the Alan Wake sale happening over on Xbox Live, as well as the Humble Bundle promotion to fans can get the whole Alan Wake collection for whatever price they want, which is soooooo frikkin’ awesome. I picked it up with the last few £’s in my bank (Pay day friday lol). I can’t play it because it’s on PC, but I wanted to support the devs and the game.
